The Glasgow Art Show which was held from March 23 – 25, 2012, is expected to become one of the best shows in Europe. For the show’s first year, it was held at the Thistle Glasgow Hotel. The show was born after the Glasgow Art Fair stopped in 2011. The three day event had artists with their works displayed in over 50 galleries.

The Glasgow School of Art (GSA) offers a variety of walking tours on campus and in the city. All tours are led by student guides who provide informative insight for each group.
The first tour is “Discover Glasgow Style” which focuses on the architecture and design within the city. In particular, the tour examines the influence of Charles Rennie Mackintosh on the city. The tours are held Wednesday – Saturday and leave the GSA campus at 10:15 a.m.
